Odd One Out

Everyone knows the secret word. Except one of you.

Odd One Out is a free imposter word game in the spirit of Spyfall and Undercover. Everyone sees a grid of words with the secret one highlighted — except the Imposter, who has to bluff a clue and blend in. Give clues in turn, vote, and find out whether the Imposter escapes or steals the win.

How to play Odd One Out

🤫

One secret word

Everyone sees a 4×4 grid of words from one category, and the secret word is highlighted — except for one player: the Imposter.

💬

Give a clue

In turn order, each player types a short clue (1–3 words) about the secret word. Prove you know it — without giving it away.

🦎

Blend in

The Imposter has no idea what the word is. They bluff a vague clue and hope nobody notices.

🗳️

Vote it out

Everyone votes for who they think the Imposter is. A tie — or picking the wrong person — lets the Imposter escape (+2 points).

🥷

The steal

A caught Imposter gets one guess at the secret word: right = steal the win (+1), wrong = everyone else scores (+1). Highest score when the rounds run out wins! The host picks the first category and the round count (2–4) before dealing.
