One letter. Twelve categories. The room votes on every answer.
Quickfire is a free Scattergories-style game you play on your phones. One letter, twelve categories and a timer: fill your sheet, then the whole room votes on every answer. Matching answers cancel each other out and alliterations score double.
Each round draws a random letter and a list of 12 categories. Fill your sheet before the timer runs out — every answer must start with the letter (a leading “The” is fine). Answers stay secret until the review!
The review walks the list one category at a time, showing everyone’s answers. Tap 👍 or 👎 on each one that isn’t yours (tap again to change your mind). An answer only gets struck if 👎 beat 👍 — a tie, or nobody voting, means it counts.
Write the same thing as someone else and you both score 0 — and plurals collide too: “pot” and “pots” are the same answer. Blanks and wrong letters score 0 automatically, no vote needed.
Squeeze TWO words starting with the round letter into one answer and it’s worth 2 points instead of 1. Letter B, “Big Bad Wolf”? That’s a ✨×2.
Before dealing, the host picks 2 or 3 rounds, 60–120 seconds of writing time, and whether names show during voting or the room judges blind. The host also paces the review — forward and back — and most points at the end takes the podium.
