One-word clues lead your party across a deadly island.
Wayfinder is a free cooperative clue game. One player sees the whole island — treasure, traps, curses and the exit — and can only send one-word clues. The rest of the party chooses which hex to explore. Budget your clues, load enough treasure and escape before you are stranded.
One player is the Pathfinder and secretly sees the whole island — treasure, traps, curses, and the exit. Everyone else is the Party.
Each round the Pathfinder sends a single word. The Party taps an unexplored hex touching explored land, and a teammate locks it in. Whatever is hiding there happens.
You share a pool of clue tiles (11 on Casual, fewer on harder islands) — every clue burns one. A spring 💧 gives a few back but never more than your water limit, and a trap 🥀 crumbles a tile AND lowers that limit for good. Run dry and you’re stranded.
You can’t just sprint for the door: the boats refuse to sail until enough treasure 💎 is aboard (2 on Casual and Tricky, 3 on Brutal). Find the exit AND the loot.
Leave the island while cursed and you lose. The amulet 🧿 cancels exactly one curse — found before or after. Brutal islands bury a third curse, so one amulet is no longer enough.
Bigger islands, longer marches and more hazard as you climb difficulty. Escaping with EVERY treasure is a legendary win — and the end screen shows the whole island, so you’ll see exactly what you missed.
